Project Himalaya – Episode 1

Why I Decided to Build My Business in Public

"Every mountain begins with a single step. Mine began with uncertainty."

There comes a point in life when you stop searching for shortcuts and start
searching for direction. For me, that moment came when I realized I
wasn't just struggling to grow a business, I was struggling to become
the kind of person who could build one. This isn't the story of an
overnight success. This is the story of someone who decided to stop
hiding behind ideas and finally start taking action. This is where Project Himalaya begins.

Why "Project Himalaya"?

The Himalayas have always represented something much bigger than mountains. They represent challenge.

    ·        Discipline.

    ·        Patience.

    ·        Growth.

Nobody reaches the summit in a single day. Every step matters. Every decision
matters. Every setback teaches something. I wanted my entrepreneurial
journey to reflect the same philosophy. Instead of pretending everything
was going perfectly, I wanted to document the reality of building
something meaningful, one day at a time. Not just the victories. But
also the failures, doubts, mistakes, and lessons that nobody usually
talks about.

Who Am I?

My name is Nitish Sharma, and I'm an entrepreneur from Dehradun. Like many entrepreneurs, I've explored different businesses over the years.

    ·        Some worked.

    ·        Some didn't.

Every experience taught me something valuable, but I often found myself asking one question:

"Am I building businesses, or am I simply chasing opportunities?"

That question changed everything. I realized I didn't just need another
business idea. I needed a better system for learning, growing, and
becoming a better entrepreneur.

Why I Decided to Build in Public

Social media has a funny way of showing only the destination. We see successful businesses.

·        Luxury cars.

·        Big offices.

·        Celebrations.

What we rarely see are the sleepless nights.

·        The uncertainty.

·        The financial pressure.

·        The failed experiments.

·        The moments when nothing seems to work.

That's the part I wanted to share. If one day I succeed, I don't want people
to wonder how it happened. I want them to be able to go back to Episode 1
and see every step that led there. And if I fail? That story is equally
valuable. Because every failure teaches something that success never
can.

My Mission

Project Himalaya isn't about becoming famous. It isn't about pretending to have all the
answers. It's about becoming someone capable of solving real problems.
Over the coming months and years, I'll be learning new skills, building
businesses, experimenting with ideas, making mistakes, and sharing every
important lesson along the way. Whether it's AI automation, insurance,
business systems, content creation, or entrepreneurship, you'll see the
journey exactly as it happens.

·        No filters.

·        No fake success.

Just honest progress.

A Promise to Myself

I don't know how long this journey will take. I don't know how many times
I'll have to start over. I don't know how many obstacles are waiting
ahead. But I do know one thing. I won't stop climbing. Some days I'll
move quickly. Some days I'll barely move at all. But every single day,
I'll take another step toward becoming the person I'm capable of
becoming. That's my promise to myself. And now, it's my promise to
everyone who decides to follow this journey.

If You're Reading This...

Maybe you found this article because you're interested in AI. Maybe you're
building a business. Maybe you're simply trying to figure out your own
path. Whatever brought you here... Welcome. You're not reading about the
end of a journey. You're reading the very first chapter. Years from
now, I hope we can both come back to this page, smile, and remember
where it all started. Because every summit has a beginning.

This is mine.

Continue the Journey

This is only the first step. The mountain is still waiting. And tomorrow, the climb continues.

"The mountain is still waiting. And tomorrow, the climb continues."
